Day Wise Planned Itinerary

  • DAY 1 : Istanbul

    Arrive at Istanbul Ataturk Airport. Istanbul is a beautiful city located strategically in two continents. The half part of Istanbul is located in Europe and the other half is located in Asia. The two halves of the city are separated by suspension bridge. It is a cultural and financial hub of Turkey; it was an important city for Roman Empire and Ottoman Empire. Meet and greet our representativeThen, you will check-into the hotel. The other half of the day is at leisure. Overnight, stay at Hotel in Istanbul.

  • DAY 2 : Istanbul

    This morning after breakfast, proceed for half day local sightseeing of the city. Visit to St. Sophia (closed on Mondays) was basically constructed for the Eastern Roman Emperor Justanian I in the sixth century. A masterwork of Roman engineering, the massive dome covers what was for 1000 years the largest enclosed space in the world. It tells the story as a city. Byzantine Hippodrome was the sporting and communal centre for Constantinople. There are only very few fragments of original structure surviving as it is only a square today. This hippodrome was mainly popular for horse racing and chariot racing in ancient times. Works from all over the empire ornament the entire Serpent Column, which raises the image of the new capital. With its six minarets and sweeping architecture;the Sultan Ahmed or Blue Mosque in Istanbul impresses from outside. While still used as a mosque, the Blue Mosque has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Istanbul. It was built between 1609 and 1616 and like many other mosques contains tomb of the founder. Inside the mosque the high ceiling is lined with 20,000 blue tiles with different patterns that give it the popular name. Grand Covered Bazaar is one of largest and oldest markets in the world with over 61 covered streets and over 4000 shops. The place attracts 2,50,4000 visitors daily. It is often regarded as one of the first malls in the world. The construction of Grand Bazaar started in 1455 but it achieved its final shape in the beginning of the 17th century.   • DAY 3 : Istanbul

    This morning after breakfasthotel. In the afternoon proceed for half day city tour. The tour starts with a visit to City walls or Walls of Constantinople are sequences of defensive stone walls. They are the last prodigiousrampartarrangement of ancient times, and was one of the most multifaceted and intricatestructures ever constructed. Golden Horn is a horn shaped estuary that joins Bosphorus Strait to the Sea of Marmara. Therefore it provides a beautiful view of sea. Cable car to Pierre Loti Hill is one of the easiest ways to get to Golden Horn. It provide spectacular around Golden Horn and Istanbul. Bosphorus cruise is one of the most overlooked tourist attraction. The cruise will take you on a ride all the way to Black sea and back. The ferry will leave at the dusk providing a great sunset views of Istanbul. BosphorusStrait is a 31km long waterway that connects the Black Sea to Sea of Marmara. It was founded around 1660 BC. It has become iconic visual representation of the city. Around 180000 vehicles pass to and fro every day. Rumeli Fortress is a medieval castle built on a series of hill on European banks of the Bosphorus Strait. It was built during the reign of Ottoman Empire during 1451 and 1452. It also serves as customs checkpoint and occasional prison. Leander’s Tower also known as Maidens Tower was built during medieval Byzantine period. It is located on a small islet at southern entrance of Bosphorus Strait. It is primarily built as a customs station for ships coming to Istanbul. There are legends associated with construction of this tower which will be unfolded during your visit. Overnight, stay in Istanbul.

  • DAY 4 : Istanbul –Kayseri or Neveshir – Cappadocia

    After Breakfast Check Out From Hotel and proceed for Airport for early morning flight to Kayseri. Arrive and meet and greet with our representative and drive to Cappadocia. Cappadocia is a very large region of valleys and unspoiled town. It is one of those places which you will believe don’t exist, until you have seen it through your own eyes. It is a terrain that will leave you mesmerized no matter how long you stay; it never seems to be enough. On arrival visit Red valley is one of the spectacular valleys of Cappadocia formed by different rock formations in variety of colours. The hidden rock cut churches in the valley surprise the visitors. Explore the famous rock-cut churches and hiking for 5km through the valley.After hiking rest in old Cavusin village where you can explore caves around and if you are lucky you stumble upon two churches dedicated to St. John. They were constructed over 1000 years ago. After lunch at local restaurant visit to Kaymakli Underground City is totally underground cave reaching as below as 200 meter below the ground levels. This intricate was made to accommodate 20,000 Christians from the persecutors. Finally visit Pigeon valley, the name relates to the thousands of pigeon houses carved from the soft rocks of chimneys and mountain sides. In ancient times pigeons were used as form of communication and their dung was used as fertilizer. Transfer to the hotel and check-in. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel in Cappadocia

  • DAY 5 : Cappadocia

    After breakfast you will go visit for the Dervent valley which is famous for its Fairy chimneys. It is a weird and wonderful natural rock formation and unique historical heritage. Fairy chimneys have been formed as a result of wind and water erosion of two different volcanic layers. A thick layer of tuff covered by thin layer of basalt that is more resistant to erosion. The Cappadocia region has very old history dating back to 4 century and it is even home to caved villages as old as 1960 when it was deemed unsafe by the national government. You can explore these cave villages and two open air museums. Goreme Open Air Museum and Zelve Open air Musuem. Both are great way to discover what a life feels in cave and how water and electricity might have tried to move in. Halt at Citadel of Uchisar and Esentepe for gorgeous sights of Cappadocia.   • DAY 6 : Cappadocia - Konya - Pammukale

    This morning after breakfast checkout from your hotel & you will visit the Konya, one of the most religious and conservative towns in Turkey. En route visit 13th century Sultanhani Caravanserai which resembles like a monastery. This is the stone paved inner courtyard with a small mosque in the middle. Its surrounded with rooms that served as treasury, refectory, hamam, repair shops and sleeping quarters. On the side of the courtyard are storage rooms and chambers. The Seldjuk Sultan AlaeddinKeykubad I built this caravanserai between 1229 and 1236. In Konya visit to Mausoleum of Mevlana, a14 th century Muslim philosopher who preached the message of love. Under beautiful domes, the tombs of Mevlana and his family were constructed. He preached he looked for God in all the temples, churches and mosques and found him inside myself. The adjacent teaching explained Mevlana’s teachings and his significant books. Karatay Theological School is place where you will explore and discover the fascinating history of tiles.   • DAY 7 : Pammukale - Kusadasi

    After breakfast you will go, visit Pamukkale Cotton Fortress is an unreal landscape in western turkey, famous for its white terraces. The terraces are made up of travertine, a sedimentary rock deposited by water with a very high mineral content from the hot springs. People have bathe in its pool for thousands of years. Ancient city of Hierapolis with the Theatre is one of the best preserved ancient theatres of antiquity. The theatre was built in 155 AD during the rule of Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius and could accommodate between 15000 and 20000 spectators.Apollo Temple is situated on the Aegean resort of Didim. The temple is dedicated to mythological God for its ability to heal and it is also a popular sanctuaryand one of the most famous oracles in the world. Thesplendid Necropolis which is a large burial site generally located outside the settlement. After lunch at local restaurant visit to Aphrodisias, aprimeval city committed to the goddess of love, Aphrodite, and renowned for its figurine school. It is relatively a recent excavation.   • DAY 8 : Kusadasi - Ephesus - Kusadasi

    After breakfast you will go visit for local sightseeing of the city. The tour starts with Ephesus antique city. It is one of the world’s great classical sites. It was once the cultural hot land of the bygone era. The city was built in about 4th century BC and was later expanded by Roman Empire. Eventually it became the Roman city. Only about 15% of this city has been excavated. The library, the third largest of the Roman Empire is a highlight. The façade is striking; the statues of women celebrating the virtues of wisdom inspired all. The city’s main street is lined with buildings which are grand even in their ruin state. Hadrian’s temple was built in the second century and is dedicated emperor Hadrian. Their decorations are full of symbolism. It was one of the biggest metropolises of the Roman period.   • DAY 9 : Kusadasi Izmir - Istanbul - Athens

    This morning after breakfast checkout from your hotel and proceed to Izmir Airport to take a domestic flight to Istanbul. Arrive at Istanbul Ataturk Airport directly taking international flight to Athens. Arrive at Athens International Airport. According to legends, the city of Athens lays its foundation to western civilization. It is also a rich place in history. You will be transferred to your hotel. Check into the Overnight stay in Athens.

  • DAY 10 : Athens

    After breakfast you will go visit for local sightseeing of the city. The city tour starts with Agena, Hydra Poros, and Depart by ferryTrocadero to Hydra. Hydra’s traffic free tranquillity is a delight. It is oen of the prettiest towns of Greece. Here you have leisure time for a stroll or a swim. In the afternoon embarkation and cruise for Aegina past through Poros and coastline of Peloponissos. Later in the afternoon we arrive to Aegina where you have time for a swim. Optional excursion, by bus, to the fine preserved Temple of Afea Athena is one of the best preserved temples of the city and it dates back to 400 BC. Return back to hotel. Overnight, stay in Athens.

  • DAY 11 : Athens - Santorini

    This morning after breakfast checkout from your hotel & you will transfer to Port. Arrive Santorini and transfer to hotel. In the evening you are free to explore on your own. Overnight, stay in Santorini.

  • DAY 12 : Santorini

    After breakfast, explore the beautiful island of Santorini. Santorini islands are one of the islands that will first strike in your mind when thin about Greece. It is one of the beautiful and romantic islands in Aegean Sea. Overnight, stay in Santorini.

  • DAY 13 : Santorini – Mykono

    This morning after breakfast checkout from your hotel and transfer to port to catch ferry for Mykonos. For centuries picturesque the former village has served as the meeting place for artist, VIPs and glitterati. The picture book splendour of the focal point of this half-moon shaped island lies in a protected bay of the west coast. Everywhere white houses with green, blue and yellow windows and doors and deep rich blue of the sea will make you feel splendid.   • DAY 15 : Mykono – Athens

    This morning after breakfast checkout from your hotel and proceed to port to board a ferry to Athens. Arrive and proceed for local sightseeing of the city. Temple of Olympian Zeus is impressive. The colossal columns remain astounding till the present day. The foundation of this huge temple were built in the sixth century BC and completed during the rule Amphabian. In recent times the remains of roman baths and dwellings are discovered. Unique among all other Greek temples is the Acropolis whose imposing appearance and artistic decoration signified the great influence and power of ancient Athens. Six female figures, the Karyatides, support the southern hall of the Ionic Temple of Erechtheion that stands on sacred ground close to the main temple. Return back to hotel.   • DAY 16 : Athens
